100 Books
As a way to encourage children to read for pleasure Shaw Hill introduced ‘100 books to read before you leave primary school’ in Autumn 2019.
You will find below the year group list of books with tiles ranging from classics to more contemporary. Each class has two sets of each book for the children to borrow. The library also has an entire set. The children can read these books independently and/or with a support of an adult. The main thing is that they are enjoying the experience while instilling a lifelong love of reading! Children who complete their year group list of books are given a certificate and prize in assembly.
